I know exactly what they are going to do with the update.

Right about one week from today (if I stay on schedule) my 55 monk will be ready for solo farming in HM. The day I finally am able to solo farm HM will be the day the update comes out, and they nerf 55 monk solo farming.

LOL.

I know ANet prefers people play in groups, but only get to play about 45 minutes to an hour per day, and it generally takes that long to get a PUG together. I HATE wasting my precious playing time getting a group together.

I was about to quit GW. Then I decided to try solo farming, and have never had as much fun in any game I have ever played.

I really, really hope they don't do anything to hinder 55 monk solo farming. If they do, that will completely destroy the game for me.

*Crossing my fingers* that I get to keep my 55 monk.

*sigh* anet doesnt knows there bunch of stubborn headed noobs outside who insist using joke builds
and sometimes one lies to you or juz leech from the group
and telling the truth , i've trying to group mission with real players few days ago and i end up failing my mission non stop in 3 days ( i was patient do i )
its better to play alone sometimes
and i miss old times when all players who are willing to learn and listen . now ? all noobs acting like they're pro , i got empty team 6/10 i get in RA ( coz they mostly gone because of ... bad combination )
all ruined now ... and i'm tired

Sure... if by hinder you mean "Stop making it so easy a freaking monkey could do it". I speak here of course of the Mystic Regen version.

Aye, they won't ever buff anything to intentional turn PvP into a fight with 8 Monks or Ritualist healers/protectors with a little spike potential. Nobody wants to waste there time fighting that.

IF we are going to have some fun poking at the idea of what might be changed:
some of the new PVE only skills(only in fun/jest)

Ranger skill:
Nerf Arrows. 15e 1c 10r
Player hit by arrows have skills in their skill bar alter to useless levels for (3..to..5) months. Nerf arrow has 5% chance of failure if marksmanship level is 7 or less.

Warrior:
Nerf Hammer/Axe/Sword
Adre 8, 5r
Player hit by attack has one primary attribute line altered to level 1. Benefits from profession specific attribute line are altered to not work as normal for (2.to..whenever) months.

Mesmer/Monk/Ele/Necro
Magic (Nerf) Missles
10e 2c 1r
Spam skill to destroy enemies attacks by making them useless. 25% attack bonus against Paragons.

You shouldn't have even replied. Zinger is just prickly and while he's good at starting relevant conversations his demeanor tends to be rather backhanded and vaguely offensive. By replying you only fed the flames and the trolls. This thread started off good but too many negative responses(mine included) have degraded it into a ANet bashing fest. Its the main reason I haven't posted again until now. With so many unfavorable updates in the past few months can you really blame people for being pessimistic about the upcoming "improvements" and "adjustments"?
